BEI Resources has not confirmed or validated this material.Yeast-secreted recombinant 28 kDa sexual-stage surface protein from Plasmodium gallinaceum (P. gallinaceum).The protein is expressed from the open reading frame of Pgs28 from P. gallinaceum, isolate 8A as a recombinant protein in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, strain VK1 using the pIXY154 expression plasmid. The protein expression begins at Ala22 and has a carboxyl terminal His6 tag. The protein is secreted and recoverable from the culture supernatant.
