This item can be ordered twice a year. Orders over this limit will be sent to NIAID for approval before shipment.Genomic RNA was isolated from a preparation of pooled allantoic fluid from specific-pathogen free embryonated chicken eggs infected with reassortant influenza A virus, A/Wisconsin/67/2005 (HA, NA) x A/Puerto Rico/8/1934 (H3N2) (X-161B).Influenza A/Wisconsin/67/2005 (H3N2) was originally isolated on August 31, 2005 from a human nasal swab in Wisconsin. Influenza A/Wisconsin/67/2005 (H3N2)-like viruses have been used as the influenza A (H3N2) component of trivalent vaccines worldwide since 2006.NR-10045 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of an approximately 1030 nucleotide sequence. Each vial contains 100 ?L of viral genomic RNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.0) containing sodium azide. The viral genomic RNA is in a background of cellular nucleic acid and carrier RNA.
