NR-3018?? Genomic DNA from Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica, CDC Live Vaccine Strain (LVS)(Nucleic Acids)|Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica|Genomic DNA from Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica, CDC Live Vaccine Strain (LVS)|-20°C or colder|CDCAcknowledgment for publications should read "The following reagent was obtained through BEI Resources, NIAID, NIH: Genomic DNA from Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica, CDC Live Vaccine Strain (LVS), NR-3018."|Quantity limit per order for this item is 1. This item can be ordered twice a year. Orders over this limit will be sent to NIAID for approval before shipment.Genomic DNA was isolated from a preparation of Francisella tularensis (F. tularensis) subsp. holarctica, strain CDC LVS.A single colony isolate of F. tularensis subsp. holarctica, CDC LVS was deposited to BEI Resources from the CDC Reference Collection as a Live Vaccine Strain. The CDC LVS is reported to be derived from a Russian water rat isolate obtained in the 1950s. Note: There is no documentation to indicate that this strain is the Live Vaccine Strain that was produced by the National Drug Company.NR-3018 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of approximately 1500 base pairs of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene as well as amplification of a subspecies-specific sequence of approximately 1250 base pairs (Type B; subsp. holarctica). Each vial of lot 62013068 contains 0.7 ?g to 1.5 ?g of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH ~ 8). Each vial of lot 7513128 contains approximately 5 ?g of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH ~ 7.4).
