B. mallei, strain ATCC ? 23344? was a human isolate obtained in China, 1942. The draft genome of B. mallei, strain GB8 horse 4 has been completed (GenBank: AAHO00000000). The genome sequence of the unpassaged strain, B. mallei, strain ATCC ? 23344? has been completed (GenBank: CP000010 and CP000011).NR-8220 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of approximately 1500 bp of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene.Each vial contains approximately 4 to 6 ?g of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH ~ 7.4). The concentration is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. The vial should be centrifuged prior to opening.
