Within the H5 HA subtype, NR-666 is specific to Eurasian strains based on HI and ELISA assays. NR-666 demonstrates low reactivity with recent 2004 H5 HA isolates from Asia as well as with most of the tested North American H5 HA isolates.Each vial contains lyophilized (0.5 mL) sheep polyclonal antiserum to the H5 HA from influenza virus A/Hong Kong/213/2003 (H5N1).NR-666 should be reconstituted with 0.5 mL of sterile distilled water. Note: Reconstitution with PBS (per the vial label) will result in excess salt.
