NR-32832 is a panel containing: 1) pooled human reference antiserum to respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), 2) three pooled human control antiserum preparations of varying titers to RSV, 3) human reference immune globulin to RSV, prepared from pooled human plasma, and 4) human serum depleted of immunoglobulin G (IgG) for use as a negative control. Neutralization titers with RSV A2 have been reported in the literature for NR-4020 (Wyeth Lot 06594), NR-4021 (Wyeth Lot 06937) and NR-4022 (Wyeth Lot 06938). Neutralization titers from 2011 with both RSV A2 and RSV B1 in the presence or absence of complement are shown on the Certificate of Analysis for NR-32832 and the individual products. NR-4020: Human Reference Antiserum to RSV NR-4021: Human Antiserum to RSV, High Control NR-4022: Human Antiserum to RSV, Medium Control NR-4023: Human Antiserum to RSV, Low Control NR-21973: Human Reference Immune Globulin to RSV NR-49447: Human IgG-Depleted Serum Each vial of NR-4020, NR-4021, NR-4022 and NR-4023 contains lyophilized antiserum (1 mL). Each vial of NR-21973 contains approximately 2 mL of immune globulin (10%) in 0.25 M glycine (pH 4.6 to 5.1). Note: Dilute NR-21973 1:10 to a final concentration of 1% immune globulin in sterile PBS (pH 7.4) prior to testing in virus neutralization assays. Each vial of NR-49447 contains approximately 1 mL of natural human off-the-clot serum depleted of IgG. Note: Lot No. 60549952, which is no longer available, did not contain NR-49447.
